Joshua Miles is more than a Houston-based entrepreneur, public speaker, and host of this new generational podcast. he’s more than a conqueror.

Like today’s young people working to become tomorrow’s leaders, Joshua knows what it's like to stumble when life creates unexpected hurdles. In 2019, he faced the loss of his 11-year-old son to a medical anomaly. That's when Joshua's fear of the dark emerged—not the kind remedied by a nightlight or a peek under the bed, but a gaze into his future that revealed a void.

Instead of staying down and feeling lost, he reached for an upper level and found his new purpose. “As I learned with the loss of my son, Josiah, destiny is not about chance—it’s about choice,” the father of three said. “I chose to make his life matter, and today, I’m blessed and honored to help other young people do the same and level up.”

The apple doesn’t fall from the tree in J. Miles’ life, who is a proud “PK.” His Father is a pastor in Northwest Houston, and sharing a love for god’s people is something he plans to share with his children. “God is all about setting us up. He’s a master architect,” he said. “for all my highs and lows, there has been a seed of ‘greater faith’ growing inside me—it’s never been a coincidence, only a purpose.”

Today, his purpose is helping his community and kingdom find their higher calling, a new horizon, and purpose from above…it’s their level up.
